On Wednesday 26 September 2018, Asharqia Chamber will host His Excellency Dr. Khalil Bin Musleh Al-Thaqafi, the Chairman of the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment, in order to meet with business men and women who are interested in protecting and preserving the environment in the Eastern Region. The meeting would be at 10:00 am at the headquarters of the Chamber.
The meeting aims to raise the awareness of the business sector in the Eastern Region in the general system of the environment and its applications and its executive regulations and review the most important issues and challenges facing the productive sectors related to environmental issues.
The vision of the Kingdom of 2030 has given great attention to environmental issues and conservation procedures by considering the protection of religious, moral and humanitarian duty, as it aimed at reducing pollution in its various forms.
The Kingdom has made significant progress in environmental performance indicators globally, while the country, in accordance with the 2030 Vision, seeks to achieve sustainable environmental development as well.
